Day 1: Set Your Intention

It's Day 1 of the #NourishYourselfChallenge!

Let's get started.

Today's challenge is to set your intention for how you want to feel in your relationships with food and your body.

Setting an intention tells us where you'd like to head... so you can actually get there.

Continual return to intention is the root of transformation. We'll be coming back to this intention throughout the duration of the challenge.

step one:

Sit somewhere quiet and decide upon your intention. Base your intention on how you want to feel around food and in your body.

Example: "My intention is to feel light around food and comfortable in my body."

step two:

Identify your "why." Why do you want to have a more healthful relationship with food and your body? What will change in your life when you do? Connecting with this "why" will help you dig deep when the going gets rough and inspire you the rest of the time.

step three:

Take a photo of your written intention and share it on social media using the hashtag #NourishYourselfChallenge. Tag me @ValerieBisharat. Then come share in our private, closed Facebook community, The Lair, so everyone can get inspired.
